The Super Bloom is still going in SoCal! On the trail are poppies, daisies, alyssum and now the mustard grass is in bloom. My process was an iPhone photo, then a drawing with color and then collage in Photoshop.

This is part of my daily Sketchgrind day 21. Careful opening them chests! you are in danger of getting a chest infection, like me I am a slobbering monster and can't get rid of it. Remember prevention is better than the cure - keep healthy and have some lemons.
Inktense blocks. This is one of a whole series of portraits I've done of people's selfies with a galaxy background. My goal with the series is to show just how beautiful and powerful and Universal selfies are. Selfies are a valuable tool in self-love and self-acceptance. We take photos of all the things we love, but so often leave ourselves out. We all struggle to accept our own skins, and often give up, but as Carl Sagan said, "We are made of starstuff," and we are all worth photographing.
So, this is a redraw of what I thought pink diamond would look like before her canon design appeared. But, redrawing it made me think it related more to the goddess of spring

Considering this was my first ever try to draw him, I'm pretty happy with the result ^-^ though there are certainly some things to be improved.

Fearful, in discomfort, rapid decaying manner, various creatures may go through such waves in life. To experience, to walk through and try to understand others, to help them. Humans are always in some sort of stress. The world is a very interesting place.
Sometime last year when I went to my village after a while, some of the buildings I saw were now modern, they no more use mud bricks to build. What I saw was like the mud houses are giving way for the sky scrapers.

This is Lianhua. She is from the Tang Dynasty in the Year 700 Ad. She is wearing a type of hanfu (traditional Chinese dress) called a Qixiong Ruqun. If anyone knows more on Hanfu and Chinese historical fashion, let me know if I I got the the time period right or if the styles are from different time periods. Progression 2 of 5. In this one I added shading to his face and neck and scetched out the hair. His ears were a bit tricky too since they are as distinctive as his eyes.
First time trying Digital Art and now I know why digital artists love their medium because they know how to use the software and can do so much with it.
