Inktober Day 28 Sparkle Sparkle

I've been working on my painting skills lately and this is what my progress is so far. I made this for my co-worker she loved it.

It is the texture of the armadillo skin it took awhile to get the pattern but I think it went well.

I had to do this quickly before work but if im going to do this everyday i might have to wake up earlier especially if i want to add more detail.

I was trying to draw shapes overlapping each other like triangles and circles. It kind of looks like a purse

I finally was able to do something with a color palette on coolers. I call this "color palette horizon"

I made this in 5 mins I think it looks pretty good

I'm making a breakthrough with the head proportions, finally

I tried something different

I tried drawing braids but the braid started to look like a flower instead

I missed the deadline to post. I drew this early in the day but I waited after work, late at night to post. I'm starting to realize that I need to do these early in the day, especially before work but I decided to live on the edge and see how close to midnight I can post ,got sloppy, and then this happened.....lesson learned :(
