Acrylic on canvas
I’ve been listening to Daniel Johnston the last few days and watched the documentary on him. One thing I noticed was how Johnston’s influence on rock bands and visual artists, the independent and low-fi artists, is all around. But I also wasn’t prepared for how his music gut punches you right in the feels. I knew some of his songs but still, I think Johnston can & will make pretty much anyone cry. Anyway this is my tribute to this absolute legend.
