Everyday life and the humorous skewering of its events are my inspiration. I love to use bright colors, beads, and other media in my paintings to inject liveliness into my creations. I have always been drawn to Outsider art and children’s artwork. For me, they have a lack of pretense and an immediacy of emotion that I admire. When someone tells me that my paintings make them smile, I feel like I've received the greatest compliment. Life is for living, baby! Let’s do it with love, kindness, and a sense of humor!
