If you live in Amsterdam you will have probably spotted this old man cycling around town in nothing but a pair of speedos, spring, summer AND winter.

An older scribble I wanted to complete. I used Old Book Illustrations as a reference for the vibe I wanted.

Appearances can be deceptive. The harvester can be interpreted as a monstrous creature, ready to reap or willing to help those in need.

I could draw mandalas all day. I think I go crazy for the ones that have nature elements in them more though. Micron ink on Bristol. Janelle Dimmett 2023. www.janelledimmett.com

Digital artwork in procreate..

My dog is definitely the inspiration here

When i was younger & used to wear bright , colourful frocks , i always saw butterflies around me & i wanted to catch them. Growing gradually, now , i realised that the real joy of seeing a butterfly is not by catching it , rather to let it free & embrace the natural beauty.

Intricacies are what i love , tried to create a new pattern with a multicoloured background.

2023.

White crayon and watercolor. This year I'm giving Mom some art... Maybe.

Mandala art is one of the most satisfying ways one can use to let go of their stress etc. A little colour mix , a little flower design & done. The details added to it are its true essence

I have been drawing eyes lately. I found a pair of eyes to practice drawing from deviantart. IDK why, but I feel better going from cartoon eyes to regular realistic eyes. I'm doing more stuff with anatomy now before I go into features again.

Sketched a great photo from Unsplash and then added a touch of color. I really want to develop watercolor, but I also love the way that pencil simplifies vision. I like how this turned out and will continue to play with this.

I need a new Sharpie

I love working with patterns on animal faces. : ) Patterned Fox Face - Ink on Bristol - www.janelledimmett.com

A drawing of the Jules Dalou (1838-1902) sculpture. I would love to post more than one photo, but the site sometimes randomly duplicates one of my five images. 2023, Double Page Spread-5” x 8,” Ballpoint Pen on Moleskine Sketchbook.
