Ok made the 2nd Mystery of the Mysteries of Light: The Wedding of Cana. Also an important revelation and the prime miracle that started Jesus' "hour". Started drawing pointy corners and areas to fill later and along the way I got inspired to do something similar to the ring of Green Lantern from DC. A friend of mine said the drawing makes her think of energy and fury.

I've started a fantastic Domestika Course by Ruth Wilshaw: "Painting Atmospheric Landscapes with Gouache." It's my first attempt at gouache painting. I'm so excited to try this art medium. I've only painted with watercolors so far. Thank you, Ruth, for your course. I enjoy it so much!

This one was definitely fun to make! It was created during the chilly nights that November brought. I'd like to say I learned a lesson from this painting, actually. I learned that sometimes it's okay to doubt yourself. The background in this painting was originally pure black with out lettering. It sat in my room for days, but in the pit of my stomach I felt that it just wasn't right. Eventually, I surrendered to the daunting sensation and started incorporating other colors into the mixture. Slowly, but surely, life was brought to what was originally just a plain idea.
