Just came out of a sudden fever and i had a dream of this beauty as i healed. Hope all of us will come back strong like this beast once this pandemic is over.
"Beauty of Hope" as one of the original painting I donated to charity and it was auction in exhibit. It was one of my favorite painting so far.
I used koi watercolor and a fabriano 200 gsm paper. Most of the color I used are blue, green, light green and yellow and a bit of orange. The metallic gold paint was one of the color that added flavor to the painting.
This is a painting I made trying to capture the simple beauty of a bird on a frozen tree. On a deeper level, this can symbolize appreacting the small moments in life, like the beauty of a bird on a snowy branch.

"Facade" depicts the duality between constructed appearance and natural image. The old woman manifests societal idealization of beauty within her headpiece, burdened by the intricacy. Aesthetically pleasing symbols around her echo the notions of her manifested identity. This facade subconsciously contributes to continuing superficial values.
My original character, Yomi, has a fascination with light. These lamps you see might look familiar to you, but Yomi is among the first to discover the beauty of colored light. Costume design for a Beauty & The Beast painting project. The mask is inspired by Baroqu-era gargoyles and grotesques. Had the pleasure of this image on my phone scaring the hell out of my favorite bartender, whose voice is usually low enough to be the voice of God...usually. XD
Inspired by the symbolism of the cherry blossom flower, which represents beauty and strength, as well as the expression, “Life, Death, and Renewal”, this piece completely embodies this expression, reflecting on the harmonious balance between human and nature. Each unique detail, from the soft elegance of the cherry blossoms, the chaotic nature of the setting, followed by the expression of complete calmness of her delicate features, helps portray the turmoils she once faced, and how she overcame her fears and saw her true beauty.
