been revisiting some older characters of mine. this one's a kid called aimery who goes to this american boarding school called emerson. he leads a fairly mundane life, resemblant of today's average high schooler, until a boy called oak shows up as an australian exchange student for the year. turns out oak's a ghosty magic witchy person who "frees" ghosts, or releases them from their non-material but conscious form into complete nonexistence. in short, aimery becomes attached before oak's untimely death.

WOW, is there really a movie that we have all been waiting for! Spider-man: No Way Home is already on the screens of cinemas. Stock up on popcorn and soda, something really exciting is in store for us! In the meantime, we have prepared a small gift for the day of the premiere. Zendaya has been a godsend for this franchise! Amazing actress, a wonderful singer, and a gorgeous woman! She can rightfully be called one of the icons of the outgoing year. Looking forward to seeing her in the new movie! Being a retired nurse, I often frequent , among others, an old folks forum and nurses website. One ongoing thread I have is called Davey Do's Art News, and I mentioned this website and a couple of artists who I've had the pleasure of communicating.

This painting was done for my sister. She loves dolphins, and she asked me when I would paint a picture for her. When I considered doing this painting, I thought about how I could design an illustration that would use the names of fish to teach her the attributes of Jesus being the Son of God and Savior of the world. The names of the fish who reveal something about Jesus’s attributes are labeled in red, just as in a red-letter edition Bible, the words spoken by Jesus are printed in red. The names of the fish whose labels are blue are different breeds of angelfish. Three dolphins represent the trinity of God—the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. The silhouette of the three men on crosses represent the price Jesus paid on the cross to buy man out of slavery of sin and deliver man from being cast into the eternal lake of fire. The black-and-white fish is called a sheep head. John the Baptist called Jesus the lamb of God, who would take away the sins of the world. The reddish-orange fish is called a flaming angel. John said that he baptized people with water to call themselves back to God and to repent for their sins. He said that Jesus would baptize with fire the person called the Holy Spirit. The gold-yellow fish is called the shepherd angel. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to be the Good Shepherd because He takes care of His followers as a sheep herder would take care His sheep. He provides for their needs and protects them from danger. The brown fish with the fanned-out fins is called a lionfish. The Bible call Jesus the lion of Judea. Jesus first came to the Earth to deliver mankind from sin by offering His life to pay for our sin. The second time He comes, He will come to set up His earthly kingdom and rule over all the nations for a thousand years. The small fish with a scarlet head is called a king demoiselle fish. Jesus will have all authority to rule over all the nations given to Him from God the Father. 48 49 SALVATION The large orange fish with the green fins is call a rainbow parrot. The rainbow represents a covenant between man and God. Just as God put a rainbow in the sky once the great flood ended to remind man of God’s promise not to destroy the world by flood again. So, do we have a covenant through the blood of Jesus that if man will accept the terms to be delivered from sin, its eternal punishment, and turn from pursuing a rebellious life toward God, God will give them eternal life. The sleek brown-and-white fish is called a schoolmaster. Jesus spent the last three years of His life teaching about who God is, what heaven is like, what hell is like, what sin is, and how it keeps man separated from God. What is God’s plan to redeem man from sin? He taught how man should live to be pleasing in God’s sight. (October 28, 2017)

I got to drop into an outdoor class with my beloved teacher from the studio. A space had finally opened up two weeks before everything in SF shut down again. Well, it was good to see her and my fellow students and be in that setting on a beautiful sunny day. I was also negotiating my next job salary and getting phone calls during class, so I wasn't entirely present. The class topic for the day was palm trees. This is in front of the De Young, another place I was so glad to have visited indoors on another afternoon before the latest lock down.

And they say that the elves in the Wilderness had no names for their gods , perhaps that is why they have all been forgotten . They did not call them gods , the elves liked to call them "spirits" . The unknowable primal forces granted them abilities . They could implore the trees for aid . And call upon mighty winds to defend them . And ask the rivers and rain for healing and comfort . And in return, they tended the garden of the great spirits , ever watchful and protective of the many lifeforms that lived within the great circle. We are all part of the great circle, the only way to escape it is to cut yourself off form everyone and everything , it is a hard path ... . . . . thank you

This is number 8, out of 9 illustraitions. This illustration portrays Jesus after he dies on the cross. I t is my opinion that Mel Gibson’s portrayal of the brutality the Roman soldier inflicted on the body of Jesus, through the beatings and the 39 lashes with the cat of nine tails. This event was never visually captured in arts, until he made his movie The Passion of the Christ. Many don’t know what a cat of nine tales is, Roman style. A cat of nine tails are nine leather strap that are woven together at the handle. Each strap is laced with bone and other sharp objects. With each lash, flesh would be ripped from the victim’s body. Most of the illustration I have seen of the crucifixion of Jesus where quite sterile. They fail to illustrate the brutality. Their image of Jesus looks more like an under wear modal doing a photo shoot fore GQ magazine, Then the savor having the wrath of God being pored on his body for the payment of our sins. In this painting, I am place my viewer in the soldiers shoes, who just witnessed Jesus committing His spirit into God’s hands. Yellow Crab (Eriphia verrucosa) is typically brownish green or brownish red in colour with yellow spots. It has very strong, asymmetric chelipeds, the larger ones typycally bering rounded tuberbles in front of the upper articulation of the carpus.
