Starlit Stage! I love ballet. I've always regretted quitting when I was younger. Also, I really like the whole sparkly effect I gave her outfit~

The elegance of dancing poses are breathtaking and they are quite difficult to draw, but I had so much fun to draw this. I hope you guys like it!

Ballet dancers in coloured pastels which I don't use very often. I did this work a while ago as a test piece for the medium which I'd never used before. To be fair I don't enjoy doing pastel work myself but love to see it by other artists.

A slightly different activity you can do in Finnish Lapland is floating in a 2°C cold water. When it’s snowing you can watch the snowflakes fall on you and when the sky is clear you can stare at the stars or even watch the Northern lights dance above you.

Beneath the wonderful realms of expression compose a vibrancy in relaxed waves into the dreams of limbs that enchant the viewers. Ability to portray kingdom of soothing pleasantness, yet a loud inspirational spirit that seems to flow within us all. By these imprints on eyes to the mind, what does one see here?

Gold and Jade are especially favored among the Chinese. The gold ginko leaves (ginko trees are also know for its longevity) across a background of green is to symbolize abundance in health and wealth for the new year. There are 15 days to the Lunar New Year celebration but typically the first 3 days are the most celebrated. In celebration of the festive season, this is a post for Day 3 and this will be my last post for the celebration.

Fifth Sorrowful Mystery: The crucifixion. I made the water and blood appear sorta as when Jesus appeared in the Divine Mercy devotion. Indeed a great act of mercy, his head is leaning towards the Good Thief, St. Dismas, to show his mecy towards him, the other thief refused (Gesmas). We also have St. John the Apostle, St. Mary Magdeline, Our Blessed Mother and St. Longinus, the roman soldier who pierced Jesus' heart with the Holy Lance. St. Longinus was healed spiritually the water and blood that poured forth by this act and believed, proclaiming Jesus to truly be the Son of God. "And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. And Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do' ...It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun's light failed; and the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit!' And having said this he breathed his last" (Lk 23:33-46). "'Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures' (1 Cor 15:3)" (CCC, 619). The inspiration for this collection came from a conversation I had with the Founder and Executive Director of the Underprivileged And Underserved Foundation (UAUF), George Goodwine. While discussing race and whether or not every opportunity was fair based upon someone’s familial structure or “starting line,” I was asked the following questions. How does someone overcome these hurdles? How can the playing field be leveled to make things fairer, when others may only have 50 hurdles to overcome in the same competition? My response was simple. “The person in front of 150 hurdles has two choices. They can either get discouraged before they begin, or start jumping. In the midst of the race they might get tired, unsure, or discouraged, but if they press on to the finish line they may become more physically fit than the person who jumps over 50.” I used to dance ballet and at the time, there were a lot of hurdles I had to overcome solely based upon inconveniences that came with being raised in low-income, single parent home. Above are pencil sketches and sharpie drawings that I have drawn from actual photos. I plan on making these images my own by adding more abstraction and vibrant color to them. These figures found must cast some meanings from my subconscious. They simply came and as a whole composition! I uploaded a full description on youtube giving them individual names, mostly ghostly. This piece contains a spooky atmosphere stronger than the others and remains one of my favorites, probably because better works come effortless.

She dances, sings, sways toward the movement of the wind silent in efforts of reaching for the clouds. Hues of wonderful branches arise from the earth to present a walking portray of lively whispers. Amused at the sight of hands locked, a walk begins.

Voyager nude before the fallen bloom of this ageless water. Seeming to observe from distance, but materialize dance deeper into these woods. A smile in concerning rhythmic tones, deeper, a cradle into silent night. What further amuse these thoughts rapid?

Lovely dog and child that play hockey together, voyagers of the forest hue, blooming wonder that be the dance in happiness. Playful enchantment overwhelm the land.
