More random drawings I worked on. This is a Great Whale with a whole ecosystem within the illustration. I enjoy these. Artwork by Janelle Dimmett. 2026. www.janelledimmett.com

A playful image of a huge tower of hot cakes so big it bends twice, toped with butter and maple syrup.

I need to work on hands.

Finally its done. -_-

Meet the ocean's most rugged protector. This original illustration features a battle-hardened whale equipped and ready to patrol the deep.

I felt like making one of my alien girls. The human race is overrated anyways.

Lotus in Dark Water

A vibrant water lily blooms amidst a cluster of green lily pads on a serene pond. The scene captures the beauty and tranquility of nature.

Playing with some expressions

A delicate, hand-drawn study of the Blue Liverflower (Hepatica), capturing the first signs of spring. This design features breezy blue petals, energetic linework, and a minimalist vase, blending a classic botanical feel with a modern, sketchy illustrative style. Perfect for those who love the quiet beauty of forest wildflowers and cottagecore-inspired art.

This is an illustration I did a few years ago for the cover of a book of children's stories written by self-published author, Jane Fraser.

Just trying to learn her. Also first time drawing a kiss.

This is an illustration I did last year that is included in a book of short stories about 'Abdul-Baha, the son of the founder of the Baha'i Faith, entitled "To Serve All Humanity".

For some reason, I had to prove to myself that good art does indeed take time. Anyways, this is an angel character (they're not real angels, they're a fictional species of mine) in my "spacefluff" style. I think I want to name her Mosambi, because she's sweet.

A vibrant message encourages personal happiness through bold, swirling letters that read "Make Yourself Happy First".
