The Mexican wolf (Canis lupus baileyi) is a subspecies of gray wolf once native to southeastern Arizona, southern New Mexico, western Texas and northern Mexico. Its ancestors were likely the first gray wolves to enter North America after the extinction of the Beringian wolf, as indicated by its southern range and basal physical and genetic characteristics. A recent doodle of mine completed that was requested by my sister. This was done with Pigma Micron pens sizes ranging from 0.005 - 0.08. The main star of the show was my 0.01 pen. I loved the tiny detailing and shading my expanding my line giving it the realistic effect.
