Sketching at the Academy (California Academy of Science) with my five year old. This was so fun. There was so much movement that he actually focused on his own sketchbook for long enough for me to get one in. Usually, he's done by the time I put the clips on my book! The Academy and all museums are closed again with SF preemptively joining the rest of the state in the extended stay at home order this past Sunday 12/6/2020. Grateful we got to go several times while it was open.
The prompt word toward the end of October- ominous. Ravens are known to bring ominous news! Although that may be influenced from Game of Thrones (I miss that show!), 'Dark wings, dark words", as Old Nan used to say! I created this for fun using an app called ProCreate on my iPhone. The character is called Fred Rock and he enjoys taking his shredding skills on all kinds of adventures.
Trying some pastels after the drawing prompt. I like them. They are portable and you can create some fun effects. Of course, everything still looks like a seascape to me.
I love how she is one of my easiest demon characters to draw :/ sadly I can't draw her husband yet due to being muscular and tall (I can't draw muscles with a finger).the reason why I didn't color her was because I'm saving the coloring for a video I am going to upload it another day (nobody watches them but oh well I also have fun making them too :p)
