The Nornwan: World Of Wonder series has always had Adventure Time at its inspired heart. I just figured I'd finally make this and practice a little imitation of one of my favorite art styles, tell you the truth, I used to hate Adventure Time, I used to think it was too simple, and even dumb, but after a few years and a little convincing, I got into it. And I've had a happier life ever since. Thank you.
Annette Hanshaw, look her up. She is wonderful!!! Now, I think some people think I'm tryna be rude doing this whole Joker-esque vibe, PLEASE, I'm not. I like and respect Joker (mainly the Mark Hamill one). The music that Annette Hanshaw sings is one that takes me back to a time where we get that nice old soul of old timey goodness, which is what Mr Mark Hamill's portrayal of the Joker made me think of. So, making an older photo of Annette Hanshaw look like the Joker form DC comics, to me, is a cool thing. Yes, I didn't draw the entire thing, this is just me drawing over the picture. Obviously when I think of snow, I think of Jon Snow! From bastard to brother of the Night’s Watch and then Lord Commander; to King of the North; a Stark and a Targaryen. He’s the emo guy, always brooding and of course he would- he’s kinda like the tragic hero always conflicted with love, duty and loyalty.
I was very happy with this one until I erased the pencil lines! All my line work smudged! Oh well. I'm still happy with it. So this is a logo I'm designing for my Tabletop RPG I've written. I'm so excited for this! This will be my DM screen!
This is a singularity as seen in Heroes of the Storm. They are powerful crystals which, upon gaining one, instantly make you the Realm Lord over one of the locations in the Nexus. The particular one I drew is based off of the one the Raven Lord has claim to.
My sister-in-law called me on the phone while playing Giant Sandwich VS Princess Ballerina with my (then) 3-year-old niece, (who I assumed was the Princess Ballerina.) From what I could hear over the phone, my niece was using a "flying fist punch" to devastate the evil "Giant Sammich," (which was later described as a ham and swiss on white with flimsy leaves of lettuce.)
After that call, I imagined what that fight looked like and put it down on paper.
