Just working on my figure drawing skills. I wanted to draw a girl sitting down, but I didn't want her to be alone, soo...that's where the bird comes in! :)
When I am anxious I stim. When I am anxious at a café that I frequent, they give me Blu Tack to fiddle with. I make little models, and this is one of them. It is supposed to be me, meditating.
"This digital artwork represents two snakes coiled in a helix, symbolizing the indissoluble union between physical and mystical life. The intertwined shapes evoke the structure of DNA, reflecting the fusion of science and spirituality and inviting reflection on how these dimensions are woven into the fabric of life."
Upcoming character for Cryptid Collector, Homie is a strong tank. Although he has a tendency to get annoyed with the more rambunctious members of the team, he is a loyal protector of his family. Made with Adobe Fresco.
Finally had a day to sit and scribble, first day in a long time. It's fast and loose, but I like how it turned out, and I had fun! My reference was a toy squirrel; but, I think love and death are a bit more interesting. Done in Photoshop. Another color version & reference- https://leglessmermaid.blogspot.com/2024/05/love-death-are-gumball-machine-toys.html
A character that will be appearing in my game "Cryptid Collector." Scout is a T-Rex like creature that is very helpful (sometimes too helpful) too his tamer. He has a habit of wandering off and causing trouble. Despite his fearsome teeth he can be overly friendly and trusting.
#15 Joe & Mac: Large Carnivorous plant boss + Spooky Theme - I drew this on an iPad pro for... maybe a Halloween theme? I don't remember. Well whatever it was, the background had to do with the theme, but in the foreground I was in the mood for something related to Joe and Mac (aka caveman ninja). Except for my rough sketch under my inked layer there was No tracing, No pressure sensitivity and No Ai involved.
A vibrant piece of art depicts a fruit arrangement still life with various colorful fruits such as grapes, pomegranates, and figs resting on a plate. The background is a wash of warm yellow and earth tones, highlighting the freshness and diversity of the fruits.
