Drawing is my best friend ever. He helped me so much and still today he helps me to stay calm. He has always been there for me, good and bad. Drawing for life and never, I'll stop drawing rather die.
I took an hour or two and drew some owls while watching the 7th Harry Potter movie. The (i think) 12th and final butterfly for the Literal Butterflies Project. Wow! thats a lotta flutterflies. This one was certainly tedious with such elaborate markings, she wasn't easy! ... That said, none of them were. With such beauty, and intricate wing pattern and design, butterflies are a very difficult subject to work with. But somehow we managed to get through all 12 with some of my hair left! Loved every step of this journey :)

The best that I know in summer is cottage life in Finland countryside. This is the image from the lakeside. Angling on a pier in perfect style. The color of the fishing hat and waterlily make a perfect match.

this was hard! Firstly trying to illustrate a swallowtail without decapitating a poor swallow... then trying to fit these two together.
