The second bird in my 'Birds Of A Feather' Series

Another smeary graphite scratch.

Drawn on holiday in Germany, a recreated historical village, the houses stand in the water on wooden poles

Negative painting technique brought about this murky sea world in watercolor

Warming up...

Monsters sketches for a personal project about coloring books.

this is a slightly better version of the first upload

A test drawing with a new marker and I think it came out ok. New to doodles.

Ongoing series of handmade collages realised over vintage postcards.

butterflies # ????? : two holly blues. This was a hard one and worthy of an art block with top and bottom wings distinguishing the species, composition and pose was almost impossible. Cue two of the Holly Blues! :)

Fruits have insecurities too. From the series "Forlorn Fruits"

Quick doodle of cats cats cats for International Cat Day, 8 August 2018.

butterfly #4: The Clouded Yellow. The hardest part here is the background! It would be too easy just to paint a cloud...I have about 5-6 different backgrounds, but only uploading one here is my fav of the bunch

"The tree-dwelling species are more solitary"

A postcard sized sketch that will be mailed to my mom in assisted living.

Page 2 of the literal butterfly calendar project

I started off with a circle on a big paper and somehow came to this, I really enjoy looking at this an I hope you do toooo.

Part of a tattoo project on going to build on a portfolio. Also art therapy in the later night owl hours when the mind wants to sketch but not to think :) A perfect subject here reflects that balance and time of peace

Painted in gouache.
