Names. Why must things have names?

I'm with the band. My daughter donated some used designs paper which I promptly put to work creating these people. Love to all.

Here is the finished book. I wrote some of my own poetry on the pages and also some excerpts from the original book.

I really love sketching on junk paper, I'm just not that comfortable with clean white paper for some reason, maybe it's just too much pressure :D

Just doodling my summer holidays!

I also like using just black ink. Lately, I've been using this Platinum Preppy extra fine for my doodling. I like how different kinds of pens and tools can sometimes give different art.

What do you see? I usually don't have a plan when I put my pen to the paper. A lot of the time, I just draw what comes to me and sometimes it starts to form into other "bigger" shapes/objects like this one.

This ballerina lived in the pattern of my bathroom tile. She wouldn't leave me alone until I sketched her.

Piping Hot Love. I started drawing lines that became pipes. Then, Love changed it all.

Leaving home

Broken heart. Quite a messy business to make - used plaster and runny colours.

This is a watercolour doodle - and I mean water! I rely on lucky accidents to get me through these paintings and I never give myself much time to do them, but they make a nice change from drawing and loosen the wrists!

Animals on the move - this is a doodle painted in acrylics. I start by throwing colours down, then look for something to make into an element. It all takes about as long as a drawn doodle does and there is no prior plan and I do not do any drawing at all!
