Sharpie is what I do best :)

This is one of many people that I will be using in my Senior Thesis animation project. My project is to create an interactive piece that is aimed for teaching young underrepresented minorities and girls the design process for a robot. :)

Mending my own damn self. No clue who or how I'll be when I come back out.

This is a picture that I drew with someone with a bow and it says Smile at the top. The rainbow and all the color is to show happiness.

A sketch, but I was hoping for true feedback. I know I definatly still have a long way to go, but how could I improve? Thank you for your time!

Aun no tiene nombre. Sólo existe porque alguna vez lo pensé. Lo único seguro: le gusta el rosa.

My aunt had open heart surgery last year. This was done for her.

Necesito hacer mas cuerpos, y no tenia tanta idea para hacer una cara, así que todo se unió y listo... un dibujo rápido :P

This is an old OC of mine that I drew to experiment with gouache paint.

© 2018 Joe Blend. All rights reserved. — Artwork was made using a black Sharpie marker, a Ranger white opaque pen, a Precise V5 Rolling Ball extra fine black pen, and a sheet of paper from a Moleskine journal. The piece was then copied in black and white using an HP copier. The artwork is inspired by “Beyond Waves & the Notion of Time,” my blog post about the importance of the journey: http://bit.ly/2Fs0au4.

Day 1: yourself. This is my personal project #DoodleWithRin365 that I am working now. It is a journey of self development in creativity and encourage myself to explore as many things as possible. I have focused a lot in detailed architecture last 2 years and really enjoyed those crazy detail lines. This year, I would like to explore something different. In this project, I decide on those themes by myself which will be included things I like and also things that I have never tried before but would like to know more. Back to my works here, I used Pilot new brush pen to completed the outline on my sketchbook and the wording with tablet. For second version, I used my real lipstick for lips :)

In 7th grade we did a rat dissection. Of course, our rat didn't look like this but this is what I remember.

This is a work-in-progress of a young Sting (from the Police) playing the bass. I used a .05 pen highlighted with Lady Grey tea (my favorite). Later, I'm gonna go back and ink everything in black.

This is a portrait of a mouse riding a weasel. I did this all from my imagination.

I made an angel looking to throwdown! I colored in old artwork from a couple years ago. I'm practicing lineless art coloring in lieu of this weekend's art streams! This took me about 4+ hours to do, but it was a fun challenge!

Wolf anatomy.

This is a portrait of Donald Trump that I did, because I was bored.

A drawing of Donald Trump (president of America) done in one cartoon. I drew him as a pig, but am not trying to be too biased. Hope you guys like it!

my paper was temporarily out of stock that day

I have been opening up my sketchbook, and drawing while not looking at my lines. I then color them in and add words for personal reflections.

a little corpse coming out of the grave looking for a brain to snack on.

Vibrant colors, upbeat design and a little imagination can carry you away to The Big Top.
