Christ is shown dramatically pulling Adam, the first man, and Eve from the tomb. Jesus does the work, that is why He is pulling Adam from the tomb by the wrist, and not the hand. Surrounding him are Holy Men and Women of the Old testament and who died before. St. Joseph is also there almost saying to the others "That's my boy! :)" Haha. John the Baptist and King David are present. On the other side we have little Abel next to Eve, Judith with her sword, Esther in royal purple and Ruth. I'd like to include even more but I'll need a much bigger piece of paper or canvas. :P This Icon is also called the "Harrowing of Hades" “Harrow” comes from the Old English word used to describe the ploughing of a field with a cultivator which is dragged roughly over the ground, churning it up. In the icon, Christ is shown with the instrument of His death plunged deep into Hades. Beneath Christ’s feet – which still carry the marks of His crucifixion – lay the gates of Hades, smashed wide open in the shape of the Cross. Christ has trampled death by death. He said, 'Do you think people travel by this route?'. His friend answered 'Absolutely, let us sit on this rock and hitch a ride with the next person that comes by...'

Consume these branches swollen by humanity fractured in dim lights, though feature promise in deeper efforts of kindness, blood cover our parts closer. Thoughts wonder red fever beneath bones of oceanic memory, to voyage away and try to understand this method. Extinction loom over these motions, while further be the faint reminder of our fate.

Deep thoughts compose these kinds of oddity fully. Severed ways of a child begin darkness, but these waves of good manner determine a decent stride to come. A belief in harmony to bloom soon.

This black and white ink drawing portrays an aged man with a beard lost in deep contemplation within a futuristic spaceship setting. Inspired by my recent trip to Korea, which I intentionally went this season to catch the cherry/plum/peach blossoms. As I observed the zigzagness of the tree branches, I see in it the number of roads/mis-roads I had to take, as someone unfamiliar with the land, to get to a good bloom spot. Which kinda reminds me of life. I felt I just had to do this piece.
