Working with some sketches for a Book cover for a Children's book

I have a finished version of this but I definitely want to do this piece again with ink.

I used a metal tip to a mechanical pencil and dragged it along the paper to create the highlight effects in her hair. It is effective but irreversible, so I don't do it very often.

I think of a friend of mine here. He has that same smirk she presents here. Funny little inside thought...
