This was a really fun piece I did a while back for the Florasona challenge that was going around. I used a few different plants as inspiration. Ashwood blossoms/berries, calla lilies, tulips and morning glories.
Eternity rings feature diamonds all around the band. The channel setting means that the gemstones are set on the top and the bottom, with the setting sitting on level with the stones, creating a little 'channel' that the stones sit in.

We sat around the campfire, talked about everything a bit when someone asked:

Old Bone is pulled pipe from the backpack, filled it with tobacco and lit. We have been waiting patiently for the response of this unusual being, deep age, and great living experience.
- Everyone would like to know the truth about death, whether it is the full end of life or a new beginning, " said Old Bone - It is wiser to ask questions about life, the purpose of life, and keeping the spark. Truly, few are looking for the truth about life. I believe that with only the complete knowledge of life, one can perceive what is happening after death.-
- How to explain the messages of the dead through the media, learning religions about reincarnation, heaven, and hell, eternal life, testimonies of survivors of clinical death?
- Fraud and delusions, speculation - calmly replied Old Bone - You must know one thing: there are doors between life and death, The Door Keeper will never let the living know what happens after death. The secret of death only he knows - and that's enough. I think life can only survive this way.
This one was definitely fun to make! It was created during the chilly nights that November brought. I'd like to say I learned a lesson from this painting, actually. I learned that sometimes it's okay to doubt yourself. The background in this painting was originally pure black with out lettering. It sat in my room for days, but in the pit of my stomach I felt that it just wasn't right. Eventually, I surrendered to the daunting sensation and started incorporating other colors into the mixture. Slowly, but surely, life was brought to what was originally just a plain idea.
Didn't get a chance to finish the piece I wanted to for today's Inktober. I decided to finish up an old piece that I have had sitting around for awhile. Just some quick shading. Will hopefully be able to finish my other drawing tomorrow.
