30-minute painting practice. Not my my Fave. Watch my weekly Art journal entry where I worked on this painting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsBhfRTE6oc

pencil and pen sketch of a character concept. I went with something else because it was hard to translate to digital so I kept it as is

Made a Skeksis OC for my boyfriend- tried to use some prompts from Froud's original designs for these guys!

Digital illustration in Photoshop. https://leglessmermaid.blogspot.com

Fine liner, 8.5" x 11". This one is pretty dark but still amuses me years later.

Qiao Ling from the anime "Link Click".

A random sketch of my character. I'm still planning out the story but soon she'll be in my webcomic as one of the main characters

Brown and grey fineliners (brush tip).

Soft materials (charcoal, sepia and red chalk)

Colored pencils

Ballpoint and alcohol markers. 8.5" x 5" sketchbook.

Sketch of a joke Dark Crystal OC, "SkekKaren". Someone pointed out that ALL of the Skeksis are "Karens" and okay, point taken! Haha. Based her look on Queen Victoria and a Patoo.

A lot of my sketchbooks are empty and lacking color. I got more color pencils last christmas and colored one of my characters with almost every color i had.

Sketchbook #7. This time I decided to try 100 heads challenge. It was quite fun, but it took me 2 months instead of 10 days though... I haven't used all the provided references and mixed them with my own. Entries 1-10, mechanical pencil.

my moms best friend mandy died I call her nani because she was watching anime with a kid and they heard what in Japanese witch is nani and they called mandy nani and I just caught on to it what killed nani was cancer she loved Scotland things like clovers and green she never toke off her clover necklace she wears that thing even in death she was my godmother the sad part was that unlike the last time she got cancer she did not fight it this time she would be mad to know how sad I am about this

Some sketches I did a month ago. I'm trying to make "cloud like" trees.
