butterflies # ????? : two holly blues. This was a hard one and worthy of an art block
with top and bottom wings distinguishing the species, composition and pose was almost impossible. Cue two of the Holly Blues! :)
butterfly #4: The Clouded Yellow.
The hardest part here is the background! It would be too easy just to paint a cloud...I have about 5-6 different backgrounds, but only uploading one here is my fav of the bunch
Part of a tattoo project on going to build on a portfolio. Also art therapy in the later night owl hours when the mind wants to sketch but not to think :) A perfect subject here reflects that balance and time of peace
One of my first larger artworks spreading away from my normal doodling on papers. A tribute to my favorite mythical creature Cthulhu (:
!!!!!Opinions would be soo appreciated considering I'm brand spankin new to art.!!
also if you'd like this design on a notebook or t-shirt or even a print hit me up.
I collaged "Krampus is Coming For You" together with my own monoprints as well as one of my drawings of Japanese Noh masks that I cut out of an old sketchbook. For the second piece, I had a drawing of Marie Antoinette as an ice cream cone, so I gave her a dress, put a background of my monoprints on her, etc. Then I added more cherries, and the circle reminded me of a clock, so I inked in the arms accordingly.
