Here it is! The 4th Glorious Mystery: The Assumption of Our Blessed Mama, Body and Soul, into Heaven. I studied some icons on the dormition of our lady in order to get some ideas for this one. In the Icons Jesus is holding the Soul of Our Lady. Just as she bore him and held Him as a child so now Jesus holds her and brings her into heaven. Then you can see her assumed body above. Oh and according to ancient tradition all the apostles were brought together for this event. "Henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for he who is mighty has done great things for me" (Lk 1:48-49). "The Most Blessed Virgin Mary, when the course of her earthly life was completed, was taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven, where she already shares in the glory of her Son's Resurrection, anticipating the resurrection of all members of his Body" (CCC, 974). Watched Man of Steel and couldn't get this quote out of my head. So, I made something with it.

I like Pigs! ^_^ Didn't you know? They make me laugh, lol. In high school I asked my friends and others to draw me pigs so I could make a pig book. I got at least 30 I think. lol. I've always liked the pigs in Windwaker but recently I found out about a rare type of pig called the Mangalista pig! It's furry! As you can see, lol (google search to see what they really look like because I did a cartoon version obviously lol). They kinda are like a Sheep Pig. So yeah, this is ToonLink if he were a Shepard boy or something, kind of like a Rancher (that's why he's wearing the Rancher outfit Link wore in Twilight princess.) He got a tan too (i didn't have a non-rose skin color marker lighter then that, haha). :) If your up for it take the Draw a Pig challenge! :P

Mixing photos to make something

I was feeling really sad and scared, and the weight of the world's crisis weighed heavy on me, so I wanted to paint something lovely and bright. Acrylic on Kraft cardstock

The picture is terrible. the colors are much brighter... Named for the person liked it most Marker, sharpie, watercolor markers. Simple way to get out of my mind, relax, zone out, I call it brain numbing style because to me it's simple (but it's not really) and just what I do no rhyme or reason. I Just start drawing lines (no subject) with black sharpie/perm marker and see what develops, often surprise myself. I go back and see faces, objects, figures... Closing lines up I see more and then as I start adding color more images develop, no theme to begin but rather it develops as I color and close it in . I tend to see faces a lot especially in graphite or charcoal and in just about anything...rocks, wood, paneling. At times I start with a scenery or subject but turns out completely different and the original never happened. I find out after I look up from being so focused (call it zoned out)

Here we go again! Yesterday's one hour produced this lovely darling :) We don't have enough fanart with ShadowSearphimon! I just adore the design of this Digimon. Considering this was my first ever try to draw him, I'm pretty happy with the result ^-^ though there are certainly some things to be improved. Please enjoy anyway! - Crypto
