The Bride of Frankenstein

I always loved the wide-eyed screaming horror of Elsa’s original Bride, but for mine I thought it would be fun if she was instead just very, very, displeased. As soon as her motor-functions kick in, it’s gonna kick off, and Doctors Frank’ and Pretorius are gonna take a very short walk off that very high tower. On the set of the original movie, attached to one of the columns, you can see a big wheel that’s used to crank open the skylight. I thought it might be interesting to incorporate this, symbolically, as a sort of halo, like the kind of thing you see in stained glass windows and old religious art, and to give the scene an additional sixth day creation kinda vibe. Also, whilst working on this, every time I thought of the name “Pretorius”, I would involuntarily sing it in my head to the tune of, “No, No, Notorious”

False Serenity

This image kind of represents my life... seemingly peaceful, but in all actuality is a whirlwind of emotion and ideas that just end up being torture. This is more of a vent.

I drew this in Pixilart while looking outside my window at the Catskill Mountains in New York. They were much more beautiful than this drawing, lol.

The Soul Harvest

The Soul Harvest The Soul Harvest is done in a surrealistic style and is spiritual in content. This painting illustrates the world as being a field filled with souls from every corner of the earth needing to be saved from eternal death, which is the punishment for sin. But by hearing and understanding and receiving the good news, through faith in Jesus’s death for the sin of man, man can be forgiven and have eternal life with God. The farm tools leaning against the fence are an invitation to those who know Jesus to pick up their God-given talents and go into the world and use them to spread the good news. The inside of the barn, with the wheat sheaths standing up, illustrates the souls that have received eternal life through the work of the believer, and the crown is their reward from God. Beautiful Lady Upon The Beach

She dances, sings, sways toward the movement of the wind silent in efforts of reaching for the clouds. Hues of wonderful branches arise from the earth to present a walking portray of lively whispers. Amused at the sight of hands locked, a walk begins.
