Red Fox

**Are Red Foxes Endangered?** Currently, red foxes do not have such a status. The IUCN claims that the mammals’ population is stable and does not consider red foxes to be endangered. In fact, they also say that their highest population density is in the UK. Up to 30 red foxes per square 0.5km can exist. However, in the UK the red fox population has fallen by about 41% from 1995 until 2017. There are several large threats to the red fox population, mainly habitat losses and fragmentations, plus exploitation and hunting. Habitat loss is the most serious of them all. Luckily for the species, they are very adaptable and can live in different conditions, which is also one of the reasons foxes have been regular visitors to urbanised areas and people’s yards. They come to look for food, which their natural habitat offers less of. In the UK, there are some strict rules about dealing with foxes on your property and you can get a serious fine or even get jailed if you do not follow them.

Time Moves On

Medium : Pen and ink on Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15 " Year illustration was done : 1987 This rendering of a broken down wagon, is part of a group of Pen and ink illustrations I did for a christian mission , for their pamphlet that was put together to imform the public about their services and ministry to the military members and their families. This mission reaches out to miltary through offering hospitality, Bible studies, holding retreats, and hosting luncheons for church groups. Deep Sea God

A pixel piece from a comic I've been working on. Pixels have always had soothing quality for me, Its time consuming but enjoyable. Inspired by some surreal dreams, I've always wondered what sort of amazing creatures remain hidden in the depths of the sea.

Sketchbook using Derwent Light Wash Sketching Pencil

I love working with this pencil. Although it is like a watercolor pencil, the tone is much more graphite like and it disolves nicely once I start using a brush. Using more or less water creates nice value range. I'm definitely a fan of this pencil--also comes in a medium and dark wash.

Alicorn

Here is my drawing of an alicorn (sometimes also called a pegacorn). I was originally just experimenting with creating light effects, but then I just kept going and this happened :) I don’t have much of a story for him, or even know what kind of environment he would live in....a desert perhaps where his golden wings could reflect the sunlight into the eyes of his enemies. Created with Procreate and an Apple Pencil.
