It’s really original. It’s like it’s combining fanstay, noir, and a place you see all of the time, the bus stop! How did you come up with the idea of monsters being at a bus stop?
@logancrabtree For me, it was quite logical. I wanted to do another group portait of monsters and something with rain and there are only a few places where monsters would be together in such bad weather. The most obvious one would be at the bus stop.
Also, when i was sketching it out, i realised it reminded me of an image from 'my neighbor totoro'.
An excercise in negative painting with my set of bister inks. I wasn't completely happy with the results - the bister ink was not as transparent as i expected it to be.
