I'm not sure what to say about this one...

I figured I'd post a progress picture of the Elton John drawing I started 2-ish weeks ago. I'm coloring it based off the album booklet (from 'Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player'), so the colors in the actual picture are a bit more yellow/orange (just in case you were questioning the color choices). This has been a project I really enjoy; it's pretty relaxing.

I know this is simpler and a quicker piece, but this is the drawing for my August journal. I started doing these back in March, with each month's drawing being based off a song. This month is "Golden Slumbers" by the Beatles, July was "Tower of Babel" by Elton John. (The pencil sketch eye I previously posted is indeed now in my journal.)

I have a few things to say about this one if you don't , have you ever seen or played a game called Layers of Fear? This is giving me those vibes, in all the best ways . Nice

@Zubia Never heard of the game, but I'll look into it. I always love hearing other's thoughts, so if want to share more, I'm all ears. :)

@mapalomar Okay, cool, great to know, Fair warning, Layers is a psychedelic horror so... yeah, fun to play and /or watch if you're into it, truth be told, I got a free sample of the game, and that got me hooked, I'm normally not into the sort of stuff myself

OH cool! I really hope to be able to draw hands open like this in the future and I like the idea of the needles going through the fingers.

@Rayedrgn Thanks! Drawing hands is pretty fun, but kind of a pain in the neck (I've drawn a good handful incorrect hands). The best advice I can give is to really pay attention to how fingers and bends are positioned in relation to other fingers. Maybe it's just me, but I always start with the thumb and do the wrist/forearm last.
