I finally attempted to do a drawing completely in ballpoint pen (I faced my fears of messing up). Thank you to my friend for donating their face to this cause, very much appreciated. The drawing isn't 100% accurate, I think we can all agree on that, but a decent first try.

    'Tsk' to think the Dog sacrificed it's dignity to appear in the photo... and never got included in the final sketch... :-p hehe. Very nice though!

    @Tech10K Ha! I think Juno deserves a whole drawing of her own, especially after making such a sacrifice. Also, thank you!

This piece is in a style that, I think, is very different from how I usually drawn or paint. I had bought myself a set of acrylic gouache paints, and I wanted to do something to test them out since I'd never used them before. (I'm definitely not the type of person who sees something new and buys it for the heck of it, but here we are..) I will say, I'm happy I bought them. If anyone has these paints and can share any tips on using them, it would be greatly appreciated!
