A challenging media—Crayola wax crayons! A self-portrait: I find that I’m grasping for something that always seems to be out of my reach. I didn’t bother to enter the official competition because I don’t have access to the specific colour set that they specified in the brief. I did enjoy drawing this self portrait with a medium I would not have considered. An awesome change of pace!

This looks incredible! You said it was a challenging medium, but it looks like you mastered it. I also really love the fact that you used your hands as a self-portrait; it's so expressive and clear. Love it and all your pieces!

The different tints of colors in the hands are so pretty! it's amazing what you can do with crayola!

@mapalomar Thank you! I wouldn't say I mastered it, I just dealt with the limitations that it presented. I couldn't get the edge crispness that I could get with ballpoint pen or pencil. After I accepted that, I had fun with it.
