An image for an upcoming poetry book, using lots of crosshatching with Rapidograph pens.
The crosshatching is impressive! I like the way you've used white space only in the highlights of the clouds. To me it gives the scene a stormy, misty feeling.

I hope to make a funny little book from this idea. Any suggestions?
Playing with faces is fun and I can see where this might actually suggest some kind of meaning, although I can't yet put my finger on it.
Instead of a sketchbook I draw - doodle - on a table top sized sheet of 100lb paper. This allows me to cross-pollinate visual ideas more easily.
Another fun stream of consciousness drawing and a way to get rid of old pens and markers.
