Neon Psychedelic Challenge

Sakura Pigma Micron pen and DR PH Martin Radiant Concentrated Watercolors. One side was painted, then embellished with ink, scanned into Photoshop, copied, flipped and pasted to make the two sides. (Fairly large image, so I included a couple of details.) Silly but fun to do. A little "acid" and a few hours of gazing is all you need for a profound experience. Ask me how I know.

Really awesome mind piece! I want to try to do something like this but the shapes never seem to flow together lol

@Rayedrgn Thanks. I think that color and shape cohesion is the important bit. This actually started when I was working out a palette for a fuchsia flower painting that I was doing. I was just trying out colors what would work together for the flowers while practicing the brush strokes for the shapes of the petals, anthers and stule . That led to just playing with shapes in a playful brush doodle. When I was done, I thought, that's fun, how about some ink lines over it. First I outlined all the brush strokes...and then added little rows of circles. So, though it looks random, actually it has very specific shapes to help unify it all. Hope that helps.

@Ilga Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It is good to know that a mindful conscious also helped in building flowing shapes together. Sometimes it is easy to think that certain things happen magically by chance or luck .

@Rayedrgn Great. So glad that my explanation of how this came to be helped.
