@Thecovatar Thank you for your supporting feedback. I started two years ago with the beginning of the pandamic. As doodle addicts is some kind of sketchbook for me you can comprehend how my technique evolved from nearly zero until today. What you see here is the status of my basic knowledge in perspective, volume, color and shading. My current skill level allows me to transfer information from a simple cartoon reference to my own pictures, as you can see in my last three uploads. My real goal is to be able to design, invent and construct whatever I want. If I would be able to draw the same picture from what ever perspective (able to rotate the whole building) I would be really proud... it will be a long journey... as next step I will work on my construction skills for figure drawing and boxes in three point perspective. Thanks for watching.
I finally did it. I completed my 100 gestures Challenge. You can do a gesture in 2-3 minutes (or even faster if you are trained), so you can complete such challenge in 4-5 hours. I decided to do gesture drawing as a habit, take some extra time to select poses which I find interesting and draw on most of the days at least one gesture. I started in April and now I'm done in December, which means 7 months later. As it is now a habit I will not stop drawing gestures after the challenge, but I passed a milestone. Thanks for watching.
