Succinct brushstroke yet accurate and vivid representation of the subject, and beautiful lighting too - I especially like the halo-like effect above his hair. BTW, what painting app did you use? I've never tried digital painting, but it seems like a potential convenient option if one doesn't want to carry painting gears around.
