That's true. Even I have issues sometimes when I don't have a reference for a certain pose. You should see some of my failures. The only thing you can do is keep practising - keep plugging away at it!
A 45 minute drawing of some old tombstones. Done in pencil, graphite powder, charcoal powder and used a kneaded eraser to create effect, also edited digitally.
