I wanted to measure how far I have come. In 2023 I drew Voxs screen, well today I redrew it and got this as a result. I'm not one to feel a sense of pride, but damn I'm feeling proud. I have done a lot of self taught with my art and using Ipad and procreate. I did take a art class in college which was basic sketching. I have watched videos, listened to others and just observed to get where I am. I don't know if my art will take me anywhere. But what I do know is, its my outlet, my vent, my escape.

sounds like you are covering all your bases... practising, studying basics, studying the works of others, learning from, and observing, others and their techniques. are you looking for something to specialize in, like for a career, or just for fun and escape? BTW, nothing wrong with keeping it personal, either.

@Cameron Someday I wouldn't mind getting a comic or two out there. I do have a Webtoon up, but I haven't done much with it. As of now its more of a hobby a way to vent out and escape. I have lots of rough drafts and a few storyboards here and there. But I already have a full time career, but once I get my bachelors over with maybe I merge art and that together.

sounds like a great idea! nice to have options... not everyone has something on the side, whether it's a hobby or a side gig.

@Cameron It helps when I need to escape or unwind. I also play video games on the side.
