My job is in front of a computer, at home. My passion is in front of a sketchbook, in the evenings. I have been drawing since I was very little, and have studied off and on. Drawing is my way of processing my life. I draw because I must!

I needed color to lift me out of a dark mood. It didn't really work.

This is a concept sketch for an illustration. Awhile ago, I wrote a story about a child who's kept home alone during the day. She makes the sun her "imaginary friend."

We both work long hours. This is how my husband winds down. I rarely get him in any other pose during the week

This is my cat, who consented to sit for me after five minutes of play with the laser pointer

This is just a doodle to play with pens. I get all kinds of pens, new and used, from friends mostly. I don't put these in the sketchbook, it's too intimidating. This is just a little scrap of used paper from drawing practice, 2 ballpoints, and a few neon gelpens

Just thinking about the state of the world and the future...

It started with a small black, squaresque shape. The little guy appeared at the end
