Hello, my name is Jasmin,
and I'm a doodle addict. Frankfurt, Germany

I am a sucker for all sorts of art supplies. In my living room there is a shelf filled with sketchbooks, paints, pencils, pens and collage materials to last me the rest of my life. I was a regular participant at The Sketchbookproject, hosted by Brooklyn Art Library until it had to shut down, and am still trying to find my personal style through doodling, painting and collaging. My goal for 2026 is to finish at least one of the 10 projects that I started quite some time ago. Nice to meet you; to meet you, nice.

Ink and watercolour in a handmade watercolour sketchbook.

Smile! Painted with gelly gouache, Posca paint pens and pencil crayons. There is a tiny bit of white gel pen as well...

This was my first try using paint pens. Played around with shapes to get used to the texture of the paint and how it feels to use the pens. Done in a watercolour sketchbook.

I did the water texture according to a tutorial by James Chapman, found on Instagram. The steampunk seahorse was an idea from a lady I am following on Instagram as well (look for @carrieisartsy) This piece is done on a paint chip card with poscapens, a gold marker and fineliners.
