and I'm a doodle addict.

Hello there! My name is Suzette and my art can be described as interesting as well as disturbing. I like to incorporate creepy and unsettling settings in my drawings and try to give as little explanation for them in my bio as possible as I would prefer that the viewer came up with their own conclusions. I am currently working on different ways to portray the human figure as well as animals and I sometimes like to experiment with combining the macabre and horror with something normally portrayed as normal or ordinary. Feel free to leave a comment on my work as it is encouraging to read on days when the going gets tough. A lot of work is heavily inspired by other amazing artists such as Junji Ito, Stephen Gammell, Holy Nicols, Justin O'Neal, Nen Chang, Kaoru Mori, Chad Wehrle, Camilla d'Errico and the list goes on...

The painting Dieu Thuyen was completed by me on June 27, 2021.

This picture was drawn by me with Pentool SAI software on my computer, the picture designed by me from the cameraman is the beautiful female character Dieu Thuyen sipping a glass of wine while waiting for her father to return from a victorious war. Dieu Thuyen is one of the most talented beauties I have ever known, so in the photo I added an oval lute and used pink as the main color for the embellishment. giving Dieu Thuyen a proud beauty. I decided to try another doodle - some inspiration behind this one - I’ve recently heard how life seems to be this constant dreadful loop, cylinder like walk, everyday the same. Life is more of a triangle, with the point of being up and down, one turn different than the next, and I guess you could say the next turn is unknown - why I left the one side blank, for your interpretation of what happens next.

Fat little birds make me smile! The Eastern bluebird is a North American migratory thrush. My subject is a male with the most luxurious neck rolls! Drawn in Prismacolor soft core colored pencils on toned tan sketch paper.
