My first attempt at an abstract painting. It was the first time I tried using palette knives also. I didn't really have an idea in mind for this, I just kinda went with it. Came out pretty cool looking, almost like an abstract nebula. I used iridescent and interference Golden acrylic paints

The First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection! While Jesus' body was entombed he descended into the Underworld in order to free and bring to heaven all the righteous that died before Him. Jesus is victorious over death, Robed in Heavenly white, He is surrounded by a mandorla of star-studded light, representing the Glory of God. Christ is shown dramatically pulling Adam, the first man, and Eve from the tomb. Jesus does the work, that is why He is pulling Adam from the tomb by the wrist, and not the hand. Surrounding him are Holy Men and Women of the Old testament and who died before. St. Joseph is also there almost saying to the others "That's my boy! :)" Haha. John the Baptist and King David are present. On the other side we have little Abel next to Eve, Judith with her sword, Esther in royal purple and Ruth. I'd like to include even more but I'll need a much bigger piece of paper or canvas. :P This Icon is also called the "Harrowing of Hades" “Harrow” comes from the Old English word used to describe the ploughing of a field with a cultivator which is dragged roughly over the ground, churning it up. In the icon, Christ is shown with the instrument of His death plunged deep into Hades. Beneath Christ’s feet – which still carry the marks of His crucifixion – lay the gates of Hades, smashed wide open in the shape of the Cross. Christ has trampled death by death. Within the dark underworld are scattered broken chains and locks; Hades is not destroyed – it is still there – but its power to bind people is gone. There are no chains, no locked doors. Christ is always there to lift us from the darkness of this world. I'm finally back home (I arrived on the 17th) even though it was stressful,I'm finally here after staying almost half a year abroad (i drew this on the plane lol)

This was inspired by the artwork of AnneliesDraws. She has an amazing skills with gouache and colored pencils. I don't have gouache paints and so I tried making an illustration using my watercolor paints. I tried increasing the opacity of the watercolor to almost the same as of the gouache paints. And the 5th. The lady at the left is a Scottish version of a vampire a Baobhan sith. They look almost like normal human women but have deer hoofs. I'm actually really proud of this one, especially for the feather. I had made almost every individual line using the Flat Brush in FireAlpaca (10/10 would recommend) but it was fun putting all my effort into one piece.

A part of the last class from my lettering course (which I’ve almost failed to pass). The only okayish sketches for the works were not being checked anymore and I didn’t redraw anything. Now it’s time to my own project yah!

Coloring practice! Looked up a lot of references for the lighting, and despite not looking like the reference I'd say I've leveled up with colored pencils. I almost never use prismas except for hair, but this time prismas colored the entire lass. This here's Yonn Goldheart Afflora, savior of Galantra, basically she's the braveheart of her country. The dirt on her face speaks of 1000 hunts and the loss of her eye shows the extent of her bravery and sacrifice. I'm thinking her chapter should be explained in a short story, yes? For legends get passed along in story over fire and wine!

While I was drawing this months ago, my tablet pen fell apart in my hand. It was bizarre and shocking, and then I completely forgot about this piece even existed. The print that almost never was.

Digital doodle in honor of the Halloween season almost being upon us! OK, so I'm a little early. I know I'm not the only one!

This is a concept sketch that i might use on a bigger piece, it has a bit more to the design that ive added on to the top of the sketch as i was playing around with different ideas and angles to look at things. i love playing around with different symbols and markings that are quite tribal and almost mystical giving a depiction of mother earth or something shamanic also playing around with the vines and branches in the hair was a cool concept.

One of my high school friends went on a family trip and returned to find his girlfriend obsessed with a dead bird. She had found it, extensively photographed it, and kept it in a box. He broke up with her. I cannot, for the life of me, get over this story, even though it happened almost 20 years ago. I want to hunt this girl down and ask her approximately one million questions.
