Was listening to an old favourite of mine’s earlier, namely Duke by Genesis! And so I opted to recreate the album cover (one of their best in my opinion)
My role was to serve my people as a tactician.
My name was my rank. I had a soul.
But magic awakened within me, and my role changed.
My mind — trained and carved for purpouse — ceased to matter.
Reduced to a beast, they stripped away my soul and bound me in chains.
Is this the wisdom of the Qun?..
Filled a page with carved faces using technical pen and a mix of orange and red alcohol markers. Pushing line weight and dark backgrounds to make the carved cutouts pop.
Some shapes scattered around other shapes inside shapes while letting my mind wander on the most nothing I can think of. Same small notepad I've been drawing in the past week or so
