Lindsey's prompt: Easter Bunny

Starting the day off simple…

A value study sample for students. Grey out the paper. Erase light areas. Darken shaded areas. Refine. Lots of success on this one.

Look I give my cats when they pee or break something. It's like why? You have boxes and why you need to be breaking things? Half the time you don't want me. I don't own cats...they own me. I should have known this.

I have had so many nightmares. But when you break them down, turns out they were never nightmares. It was just my subconscious trying to process what I have been going through emotionally. The brain doesn't register fictional, emotion is emotion. My emotions, my mind and my soul have been processing so much. But if fuels my comic and my art. So when I stand in the dreaming realm, I tell it to bring it on. I will just use the twisted and bizarre to create.

I need to find my style one day.

Monster concept is coming along. I feel like its a puzzle and I'm slowly creating the pieces.

Hey Boos! It's me Peekaboo! This drawing was made by a lasso tool (some parts arent lasso tool for design purposes) and the day before yesterday I got surgery on my arm so I get to skip out on PE!

I'm going to do a series of comics revolving around this character, Carlyle! She's such a an arrogant little diva, and I love her. I'm just doing this to test the waters and get used to writing comics. Not sure how serious I'm going to be with it, but hopefully I'll have fun along the way : )

A character in a project I'm working on. Very mysterious, knowledgeable, capable, and sporting a traumatic backstory

Part 2 is coming, tomorrow. I had this one sitting in my procreate for a while. When I drew the picture I wasn't sure where I was going with it. But after letting it sit for over a month I finally figured it out. I have a second template to go with this one, and it will be posted tomorrow.

I drew this in a sketchbook a few years ago (2022) and found it again. I wanted to redraw it, well...I grew! Woot!

I don't know, this one came from the depths of attic. I wasn't sure where I was going with it. I guess I'm just trying to give my toons some expressions.

Didn't have much time today. Hope you enjoy :)

Unexpected Visitor This color sketch was done for a pumpkin carving design I did for the Chadds Ford Historical Society Great Pumpkin Carving contest. The sketch is a a lot more impressive then what you can see here ,unfortunately when the picture was scanned ,The Kinkos sale person chopped half of the image that shows the hands, one point at you, and the other holding the sickle, and the flowing rope hanging off the Grim Reaper's arms. I spent a couple of week just studying skeleton to do this sketch. I was Inspire to do this design by the thought that came across my mine about death. We are like helpless babies playing Peek A Boo when it come to our knowledge of the time death will drop by to pick us off. Some people who are terminally ill and are told by the doctor they have only a couple of days to live, must feel like the Grim Reaper is sitting right in front of them with his face hidden behind his hands, and when you lest expected he opens his hand like to great door turning on their hinges to open up to reveal him sticks his face in their's and shrieking ,"Peek A Boo," and followed by a hideous laugh . The Meeting Bell Medium : Pen and Ink On Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15" Year illustration was completed : 1987 This illustration was part of a collection of pen and ink rendering i did for a christian mission, for their pamphlet that was published to inform the community, surrounding churches, and the military post near by, of the services they offered, and about their ranch. Their main ministry is to the military service personnel and their families. They offer a weekly dinner followed by a Bible study. They offer a place where service personnel could spend the weekend at the ranch for free, with meals included. There would also be activities they could partake in , such as going to concerts, going to amusement parks, visiting national park for picnics and hiking. The ranch holds retreat for military personnel who are in training, who want to learn about the Bible , and enjoy good home cooked food, rest, and out door recreation in the country. This ministry also lends it's facilities too near by churches, and to the military chaplaincy, for luncheons. This ministry is a great work of God, share God's word, and love through hospitality. About the bell. I call this illustration the meeting bell, because it sat right out side the activity center, and when ever a retreat was being held, the bell was use to let the guess know when a meal was being served, or a Bible study was about to begin. If you study the bell you can tell that at one time it must have been housed in some kind of church or fire house, by the big wheel attached to it's side, so it can be rung by a rope. Then when it found it's self at the ranch , they must have had a arm clacker manufactured, To strike the bell to sound.

Absent-minded doodles, playing with negative space. This ended up being a great way to burn up a new sharpie pen ^^
