Another sketchbook finished!

“I remain old, but younger than I’ll be tomorrow.” - Richard Kind.

“To rally every black sheep is my goal.” - Julian Cope.

Unicorn whales and shiny things… standard stuff? Yep.

Badger Week has come and gone, but my support for these magnificent creatures continues!

Let’s get this week started!

Fungi and fun guys all around…

Another of them usual characters to conclude things in my current volume!

It’s another moon and narwhal piece… what do you expect? It’s me :-P

Whew, survived Christmas! Back to business then…

Casually racing through it with all the drawings… hence why it’s new sketchbook time already, hahaha! As we leave spring behind, meet “Summer Eyes”.

This is an white-breasted nuthatch illustration I recently completed for a Christmas project.

“I find only freedom in the realms of eccentricity.” - David Bowie.

…and into December!

Another dreamland for today…

Before autumn cools things down a bit, something tropical looking to share…

As it says on the tin!

8 1/2 X 11 inch on medium weight sketch paper.

One of my Swirly Designs, illustrated with different tools such as Graphite, Aquarelle, Ink Pens and Ai & Tablet. Sometimes sheer Vectorillustration/design. . Urh.-Nr:1811955 . Copyright  by Carolina Matthes

Photograph taken by Paula Mignucci thanks for giving me kind permission to draw this cute but serious looking Fox.

My next monkey watercolor -well, mostly - there is a touch of acrylic paint on the eyes. I do not know why they are called red-handed - since they seem to have yellow hands.

Happy Solstice one and all :-)

Out of November…

Lazy(ish) Sunday…

Back to it after a mini-break!

Yep, this!

It is whatever it is?

Squid game no. 2 from today!
