"Spade - Magic Card Tournament" ♠️ ✨
Character design for a videogame idea based on a futuristic world in which there is an artificial magical card tournament held every decade. The main character, Spade wants to bring peace to her world by winning the tournament and being granted one wish.
I forgot to post it here. I got better at drawing her. I tried a more '80s anime style recently but will keep at this style since that's how I draw. I love her even though she's not intended to be a main character
This is my 2023 OC Paxton. It's hard to call him my character when he looks like several black-haired protagonists of a Shonen anime lol. I made him very young even though he's a married man and father of two children. I'm still drawing his wife she has several designs and styles
Done 2000 with oils on illustration board. This was one of my art college in NYC project assignment that i had to do . The theme for the project was "ludicrous" so from there we had to come up with image towards that vocabulary. First I did a thumbnail of woman combined with motorcycle,but my art professor did not approve of it, so I did my second thumbnail which was the image as you see now ,but I originally had painted her face with eyes and the third on her forehead and when I finished the painting . I showed to my other class professor and one professor recommended me that I should pull the skin over her face and get rid of the eyes so thas what I did to finish the piece. When we to show our final piece in the class almost everybody in my class were saying I am crazy in a good way I hope. Later on back in year 2001 one of the art buyer from Yahoo messenger in art chat room we got to talk about art wanted to see my artwork ,so I showed him some of my oil paintings that I did year 2000 for my class in art college he wanted to buy almost all my oil paintings so he bought the one that you see here and rest of my 2 paintings.

This picture was drawn by me with Pentool SAI software on my computer, the picture designed by me from the cameraman is the beautiful female character Dieu Thuyen sipping a glass of wine while waiting for her father to return from a victorious war. Dieu Thuyen is one of the most talented beauties I have ever known, so in the photo I added an oval lute and used pink as the main color for the embellishment. giving Dieu Thuyen a proud beauty. When the world is full of noise and impetuous, you can try to sink your heart into the deep sea. There is silence, you are willing to talk about your story, then there will be someone willing to listen.
This is more of a test than anything, but I thought this would be go a good one to test uploading with. I basically just created this character from my head. If you're interested in the materials I used, I created it with a basic watercolor set using a wet on wet technique for the background, A sharpie outline, and the color on the character was created by using Prismacolor colored pencils.
