I have been listening to some great songs and getting lost in some writing and stories. I felt inspired to create this creature. I know I had made one originally a year ago.

A moment suspended between departure and arrival. Interim explores transition—where movement pauses, direction is uncertain, and meaning exists in the waiting. Rendered with restraint and negative space, the piece invites reflection on the quiet spaces between what was and what will be.
It's October and I am really getting into the Halloween spirit. And to start off the month is one of my witches.
I have drawn quite a few witches over the years, and she is one of my favorite ones to draw.
Finding out why I wasn't able to properly draw something like this readily in pencil... This sort of styling is better represented in less-detailed styles such as paint, or even using just a marker. Pencils are highly detail-oriented, and... this is the "essence" that I have been trying to present behind the pencil medium...
