Ink & graphite doodles/sketches, (this time more graphite than ink.) A5 size ruled notepad paper. This started out like other doodles of mine, but quickly morphed into something a bit more deliberate and complicated.

This was an attempt to add more motion to my drawing and play around with telling a story. This features one of my characters, a king of a northern nation that reveres birds, in a harrowing fight.

If red is for hardiness and valor, may we show courage and resilience. If white is for purity and innocence, may we help protect the young, disadvantaged and helpless. If blue stands for vigilance, perseverance and justice, may we put a mirror to ourselves and learn persistently.

This sends a message to all the women out there to keep on shining, keep blooming, growing and slay to whatever you do. I used sakura koi Watercolor, monologue watercolor paper, crystal gold fine tech and Tokyo Finds brushes. I’be been sketching my toy cars and trying to imagine how plants might interact with them

They rode in silence as the sandy dunes passed them by. There was a storm brewing at the horizon. They did not know what destiny had in store for them next. All they had was themselves to rely on. They needed no one, they were independent.

We took the Tuesday after Memorial Day off and rode bikes into GG Park. We found a mostly empty patch of green to picnic and play across from the Conservatory of Flowers. Our social distancing signs are blue with four white arrows pushing four people apart. Every time I look at them, I think, what if people think the length of those arrows is actually 6 feet? What do yours look like?

Had this joke in my head for days, had to doodle it out so it would shut up! Pen and watercolour, 5x4".

I always thought that if Tribble and Borg ever meant, it would mean big trouble for the rest of us. I mean... if Tribble and Borg were real.

I live in central London, so I sometimes dream of a more nature-filled work space
