Part 2 is coming, tomorrow. I had this one sitting in my procreate for a while. When I drew the picture I wasn't sure where I was going with it. But after letting it sit for over a month I finally figured it out. I have a second template to go with this one, and it will be posted tomorrow.
I wanted to measure how far I have come. In 2023 I drew Voxs screen, well today I redrew it and got this as a result. I'm not one to feel a sense of pride, but damn I'm feeling proud. I have done a lot of self taught with my art and using Ipad and procreate. I did take a art class in college which was basic sketching. I have watched videos, listened to others and just observed to get where I am. I don't know if my art will take me anywhere. But what I do know is, its my outlet, my vent, my escape.
This piece was made 2 months into starting drawing. A symbolic surge of creativity and inspiration as the veil was broken down. This can be considered a personal milestone.
A young woman tossed into a strange world in an attempt to prevent harm to hers, discovers she is connected to it in ways she never imagined. Violet is declared to be a new Archfey Queen and budding goddess of Magic. Having been raised in a world where magic was thought to be an archaic belief, to suddenly being it’s master throughout the eons was needless to say, a terrible shock.

Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. This is someone's OC I drew (the design is not mine. No stealing please.) It's also one of my first attempts at drawing a dragon-like creature. This one, I'm pretty proud of. However, I need practice on drawing scales. Getting them to look right is more difficult than I thought. Overall, super happy with this picture. I hope the image makes your day a little more magical.
This is a drawing of Venoct, one of my favorite characters from Yo-Kai Watch. I drew it a couple years ago, so it isn't very recent.. But it's still a nice drawing I think. *Edited for clarity*
