I created this piece in response to the ongoing mistakes and let downs from the organisations who should be protecting and taking care of people. I still have a couple of tweaks to do, but it is basically finished. I used flour and water paste to add texture to the brickwork and to attach the logos.

Some endoskeletons I made a while back. The one on the left is spring-safe, which means it can be openly used as a costume. The one on the right is not spring-safe, and has a much higher chance of springlock failure. If you aren't familiar with the concept, springlock failure is basically where, while wearing a suit such as one of these (which are typically inside of mascot suits), the metal parts and such which pull in while a human wears it jolt back into position (which are there so they can operate on stage without a human in them) and dig themselves into your flesh. This normally kills the person inside the suit. Don't worry, though! Not like this is likely to happen. You usually have a 50% chance or higher to live... or less. ;) Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Fourth Sorrowful Mystery: The carrying of the cross. So I basically have 5 stations of the cross combined into one. The carrying of the cross (2nd station), When he sees our Blessed Mother (4), Simon of Cyrene forced to help (5), St. Veronica wipes his face (6), he meets the women (8). In between these are the 3 times he fell, the first station of his condemation and then the striping before the final mystery of the Rosary. "And they compelled a passer-by, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross. And they brought him to the place called Golgotha (which means the place of a skull)" (Mk 15:21-22). I played around with stylized head shapes and facial features by using a col-erase pencil to draw the basic structure, and then adding detail to it.

First time oil pastel. Concepts and Hope: as a woman struggling with autism spectrum disorder I grew up not understanding basic concepts in the world around me. Maybe this is universal. I didn't understand why we had to go out to play in school for example, or I didn't understand other people might not be as honest as I always had been. A lot of concepts have a different meaning for someone like me. So here I am naked between the concepts, misunderstood but hopefully looking up. Maybe one day the world will be more like my ideals are, maybe I will create a circle around me of likeminded people, maybe the world will never change enough but I will find peace with myself. One day I will get peace, one way or another. Hope. Oh and yeah, it's a mess with the oil at the bottom. Does anyone have some ideas to improve my technique?
