I just got home from skiing in Beaver Creek and had lots of airport and airplane time so I made this piece.

All the characters on my shelf at work. They reflect my age

Banksia grandis is a banksia that is of medium height with large candles. The eyes contain seeds that come out with fire.

There are only a few lovely large pine trees near my home in the Southwest of Western Australia. This little sprig was found on a walk where there was only the one pine tree in amongst the other trees.

It's snowing and I have to be at work....So I made what I want the most right now and it's a nap.

This was inspired by one of @JunkyardSam's drawings. I loved his linked islands and wanted to do my version. Thankyou Junkyard Sam for your inspiration. It is good fun to try on someone else’s outlook.

An experiment to see if I could represent decay using line. I learned a lot.

Trying out different approaches with my fountain pen.

Day 7 of inktober2020 and the prompt is Fancy (referring to his hat). I like this pen and ink approach better than most of my earlier inktober drawings. I prefer the teeny tiny scratchings to marker. Nick insists on taking his special hat with him.

I recently finished this sketch of an interesting house in a town about an hour away. I was fascinated by all that was going on.
