Sometimes it seems that technology is making us more alone, but I like to believe that with every post, like, comment, follow, share, email and tweet, we are making ourselves more visible to one another. And together, we can make ourselves heard... Keep it positive, keep it loud, and keep it going forever.

Here's a portrait of Yuko Shimizu that I'm working on for an IlloStories project (check the group out on Facebook). I took her pose from one of her photographs, then used colours, patterns and textures that were inspired by her artworks. This could be a front page for a book about her, or maybe a page for when her story reaches this point!

Every person chooses his/her own path. Somepeople help others. Some people quit. Some people settle for less. That's the theme. I always loved the textures of insects so chose it as main thing to look at. And then trekking is easiest way of seeing struggle. That's about it.
